Sarah began performing as a singer, having been classically trained and then familiarized in the ways of all
things Streisand-y and show tune-y. But she soon realized that acting was her thing.

She received her actor training at A.C.T. in San Francisco and at California Institute of the Arts, where she
earned a B.F.A. in Acting. Sarah has been seen on stages in Los Angeles, the Northern California Bay Area,
Chicago and Europe.
Recently, Sarah performed at the renowned Volksbuhne Theatre in Berlin, Germany,
The Audimax in Aachen, Germany, Le Consortium Art Center in France, Chicago's Trapdoor Theatre -
where she earned a Best Actress
Joseph Jefferson Award nomination - and at the acclaimed Celebration
Theatre in West Hollywood.

Sarah recently won
Best Actress at Chicago IndieFest for her role as the fast-talking Donna in
"
Dreammaker" and can be seen as the dry witted Karen in the cult comedy "Courting Courtney" with
Dana Gould, Julia Sweeney and Kathy Griffin. This year, you can catch Sarah as the fast talking Jill in the
heavily improvised mockumentary "
Change Your Life!", getting frisky with Ugly Betty's Tony Plana. Sarah
is currently writing/developing a solo show and can be seen around L.A. doing comedy.
She hosts a
regular comedy show at M Bar in Hollywood called
"The Jumping-Off Point Show", which has a line up
of all female comics.

Sarah's also a proud Irene Ryan Acting Award winner, does a darned good Ethel Merman impression and
can do a crying baby that will completely freak you out. See where all that voice training comes in handy?
